Tara Sanctuary is a beautiful massage therapy room, run by massage therapist and fascia release specialist Ivana Reddington. Less than a five minute drive from Mangawhai Village, surrounded by trees and rolling countryside, you will be lulled into a state of deep relaxation and healing during your massage experience.
Ivana believes strongly in the power of touch to heal the body and offers a range of massage techniques to suit your specific requirements, with fascia release being her speciality.
"My philosophy is based on the belief that the body has the ability to heal itself when given the right tools and environment. Myofascia is a key component in the body and when you know how to unlock it and treat it - that’s when the magic starts to happen.

Relaxation Massage

Designed to bring you into a deeply relaxed state, this massage will evoke a deep sense of peace and calm within your mind and body, allowing you to go in a natural state of rest and repair, where all healing takes place.
Therapeutic Massage
This custom massage is tailored to your specific needs and is aimed at helping alleviate anything
which is causing tension in the body - like
alignment, a specific issue in the tissue or simply to remove a build up of tension using a combination of massage techniques which may include be myofascial release, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, cranial sacral techniques and neuromuscular techniques.
Myofascial Release
A very effective and gentle technique without oil to stretch and release the fascia and connective/soft tissue in the body. This is
the most effective technique for stretching tight muscles and releasing the body from blockages that occur from repetitive movements, physical injuries or other reasons.
This massage can also restore limited range of movement and sensitive nerves that may be irritated.
Organic Hydrating Facial
A beautiful organic facial using local New Zealand
products and a specially designed and unique facial creme and mask from
Nature/Nurture using shea butter, lactic acid, aloe and many more nourishing ingredients. Your skin will come out well hydrated and glowing!
This is a beautiful and luxurious addition to add on to your massage experience, and will leave you feeling glowing and pampered.
